ok…

…i have a major question to ask everyone!!! if u had a choice to my a Macbook or a sony laptop which would it be….the ones im looking at are both 1500 dollars and both have the same specs…..the only difference is that the Macs dont get viruses……but ive never owned a Mac so i dont know what to do…would u get the sony or the Mac….

the mac if it gets no viruses the sony always does and its a real pain because it doesnt work then

It’s not “Sony” laptops that are vulnerable to viruses but the Windows OS that is on it. Viruses cannot effect you if you buy and UPDATE a good antivirus program. I’d also recommend a good anti adware program to go along with it.

I do not recommend the programs from Norton, McAffee, or Microsoft itself (default program that will come preloaded with Vista). There are much better programs available. AVG is quite good and is free, including their updates.

When a new virus is found “in the wild”, all antivirus companies share this information with each other. That way they all stay up to date on what could possibly effect your computing experience.

If it was my money on the line, I’d buy the Sony.

I would go for the mac over any pc.

Macs r pretty good, but they arent as good as laptop computers. Plus, Macs are hard to ajust to if you arent good with them. I hope this helps with your choice.
