I am so at the end of my rope and out of ideas.

If anyone can help me fix this please let me know ASAP. I left my family and friends 4 years ago because i was going through a bitter divorce. I came to Wyoming to start over. I have done very well by my 3 children and myself. I have always worked as a merchandiser going into stores and resetting things. After being laid off most of November and December I worked in January and February. My compnay decided to close and they moved me to the parent company but i only work like 10 hours a week. I have since started with a new company but it takes a month or two to get set up on pay and all the new hire stuff. It is slow going for work till i get into the systems. My electric company says if i do not have my 650 paid by thursday they will shut me off. I am only behind march. April bill is coming out. I live 20 miles from town. I cannot hook up my propane as of yet as it takes 1500. I have no running water as they need 1500 to set that up from a cistern. All the trailer courts in town are full so I live here. I travel out of town alot to work. My kids cannot be here alone with no power which we use for heat and to get me more work. Please help me figure out what to do. Desperate in Wyoming.

Hi,
I wish I could help you out financly but I am pretty much in the same boat. Try calling the electric company and explaining the situation to them. I know that when I had the problem, my eletric company told me that if I had small children living with me, they COULD NOT turn off the electric.

Thanks for your reply. I am sorry you are in the same boat. I am sure it depends on the company policies and things but anymore it does not matter if you have small kids they can and will shut it off. The government gave them back that right. Take care and hopefully we will both be better soon.

Laura

Hello Laura..I know it is much different here in our place as a $100 is eqivalent to Php 4800.But I was in that situation weeks ago when i started posting here…Bills are pouring in not to mention everyday expenses. My small business of baking pastries and delivering was halted due to no running capital already. But my main problem then was my electric bill costing that $100 and if I don’t pay within 4 days they will cut it off.I was so down and out and coupled with prayers and inspirations someone asked me for assistance in buying equiptments. From $1600 I managed to get it for a little less than $1200.I marked it up a $100 to cover my bill and the day before my electric will be cut i was able to pay…The others I know i can settle slowly..what matters is i never lost my smile in trekking this thing called LIFE!!!…You are will be in my prayers from now on…

Call old friends or make new ones? Both.
