Exercise, eat healthy, and be patient. If you truly cannot lose weight, there may be a nutriotional or metabolism problem and you should see a doctor. Otherwise, eat according to the food pyramid (stay away from fad diets), and eat not until you are full, but until you are no longer hungry. If you have healthy meals, your body has the materials to work with. Next exercise. Find a friend to do it with if you can, or something else to motivate you. Start simple. Too many people find that they just can’t get up the willpower to go to the gym. You cna just go up and down your stairs for a while and put on some music or just walk. Try walking more per day. Skip the elevator, don’t drive short distances, etc. Do something fun too, like dancing to your favorite music for example. As long as you keep yourself moving you are on the right track. After you get used to exercising, you can start doing more with it. Lastly, be patient. Too many people fail because they want immediate results. A pound of fat is roughly 3000 calories. That means that you need to burn 3000 more calories than you consume for every pound you lose. Your body can’t burn calories without healthy food and exercise, and it is unhealthy to try to lose too fast. Don’t constantly check the scale, because water weight varies so much that it isn’t even accurate more often than on a monthly basis. Remember, losing 5 pounds in a month is burning 1000 extra calories every single day. Don’t expect to lose it tomorrow, but just go slowly and feel good about yourself for what you are accomplishing.

Learn about complex carbohydrates.I did the “eat right for your blood type diet”.You might call it a fad diet but its not.Check it out it worked for me seriosly.I saw immidiate results and the book gave me a lot of useful knowledge.You can use it and the food pyramid at the same time.I started it two years ago.For three months I rode my bike back and forth to work and never lost any weight.I started the diet and within two weeks I was steadyly dropping weight so much it scared the heck out of me.I believe in this diet it really helps.My aunt is an ND and she is the one who turned me onto it.I slack off every now and then because I have this strong craving for sugary foods(quick carbohydrates)and I am happy with my weight so I really don’t care what I eat.And well actually I started the diet not to lose weight but just to feel better.And it worked.Whatever you do you have to be ambitious,stay motivated and remember your goals.Like crazy girl said support groups help.

Have you visited a doctor? Sometimes we are fat not only because of food, but because we are sick. If you are sure it is just because of fats and eating, then I strongly recommend you to exercise, I know it sounds horrible, but it is the best way. If you don´t want to eat in big amounts, don´t buy those things you like but you know they will make you more fat, and try drinking water when you are hungry between meals instead of eating.

Reduce your junk food intake and stick to wholesome foods such as fruits and vegetables. Imagine your body as the machine to burn your weight and actually perform the workouts.

Do not plan dieting because it is not a solution for a longer duration. You can easily feel tired by following a particular diet pattern for a shorter duration. It reduces your rate of metabolism by draining away the water content and retaining the fat content.

Everybody has something to say about loosing weight. i am living it. i use to go to the gym 5 days a weeks 4 hours a day. all my life have been a size 4/6….before july 14 i was buying size 11!!!

Eat this,dont eat that, count the calories,replace this, pee upsidedown, walk backwards…bahhhh!!!!! i had given up, and i started to look at the positive side of being fat….no crave for shiopping….perfect, i was saving money!!!

My husband’s boss turned me to this system…i told her i didn’t know how to diet, i have no consistency….today i am on a size 8/9, have lost 8lbs and 4 inches around the mid section (too bad my boobs still huge yuk)
I have pics i took the first day and pics from 3 weeks after (started july14)
No changing my eating habits…there were not that bad i was just storing everything
