This website is both good and bad.

Although it can really help you with some of your problems, when i just posted a problem, i realised that i was just sitting around waiting for an answer rather than trying again myself.

After you posted, did you use the ‘Reciprocity’ feature that was at the bottom of the page?

When you use that feature to find other people you can help on the site, we forward your most recent question to that person, and anyone who comes across that page later will also see your question. If you sit around waiting for someone to find you, you’re going to be less likely to get a reply.

If you didn’t use it, was it because the results coming back weren’t helpful? The software is still new, so we’re trying to improve how it matches you with people who can help answer your question.

By the way, I just noticed that you got a reply to your other post.

Its a fair enough idea but I think in most situations a lot of different perspectives on any one subject can offer insights that you could never have come up with on your own no matter how long you say there stressing about it, and it makes you feel good to put stuff on paper (or the screen)

also another idea why the site might be bad (but it isnt or i wouldnt be here) but some peoples problems are really depressing so it might make you unhappy if you read it all and put it on yourself S:
