hello :P i have brought a new computer with windows

vista on it and it wont let me play AVIs on it i downloaded vlc , divx, quicktime and others, :( why is this and can i sort it out, your help would be great, thanks peter

I use this it works for me. Use ace div x, it’s free and download the codecs that are there as well. http://www.gustosoft.com/players-down…
I think you will be pleased with the results, you get another player and it should force windows media player to work as well.
