I am outraged.
My employer just told us that our 401K is being shifted from one manager to another. In the interim we will experience a blackout of 20 days from our funds. Apparently when the dust settles all of our existing stocks and mutual funds have been sold(liquidated) by the old manager and I will have to buy new funds in with the new manager. To boot I can’t even buy stock with this manager. I’m fuming mad. Does this sound legal? I have no say in this?
