i like this guy that is really really smart adn popular. Im oxymoron, im a nerd. Other “popular’ girls hug him and talk to him. I get jealous because i wish i could do that.I feel insecure about my self, see im not very pretty at all. All you have to do is confess your feelings and just wait.

I totally agree. I know what it feels like. I mean, I’m going through this right now. You know what? I understand that you should drop the guy and not like him, but I know I just can’t. It’ll hurt. I’m hurting. I feel like it IS the end of the world. I understand. If you hurt, let it hurt. The guy I like likes one of my friends. I’m still depressed. I don’t want to give him up either! If you feel he’s worth it, pursue. If you think you can find someone better, then change.

there’s this guy that i like, the good thing is that he actually talks to me, but what really puts me down is that i feel like he’s only using me.
everytime i give him a hug, he tries to touch me inapropiatley. we all want attention from the guys we like, but i would much rather him like me b/c of how i really am, not on the way i look.

Hey, I know everyone else said this but I know what your going through. I really like this guy, and have for a long time. We are pretty good friends and we hang out a lot, but he has a girlfriend. i know exactly how this feels. Yesterday at a party the guy i rally like was there, and at first i was talkin to him but it was clear that he really was not into ..and he waas always around his bestfriend and another girl that i think he likes. I tell my friend hes not into me anymore, and she says I know. I was like what n then she was like i knew that for 2 weeks i just didnt want to get in it..
and the whole night he didnt talk to me, and it was just him and his “gurl” and the images are still in my head. There cute together…ther really cute.
Luckily i didnt cry and i havent so far, because I kno he wasnt worth it and i definitly didnt deserve to be treated like that, because he hasnt sed anything to me about not liking me. And that what hurts, ……i dont know if things have changes and he stil has a little feeling for me ..or at least he could just say I dont liek you anymore…..

I am going through the exact same thing at the moment. And its stupid when people say “dont worry just get over it”. I know thats the only thing you can really say but it isnt as simple as that and its very difficult. I just dont understand it. The boy who i like used to really like me a long time ago. Then we didnt speak for a while and lately i started speaking to him again. I realised what a sweet guy he is and that he is actually quite attractive. And i fell for him. But i dont think hes into me :( He sometimes flirst with me and it really confuses me… but i always want to be around him. And i have no idea how long its gonna take for me to stop thinking about him :( i hope you find a way to get over him or hopefully he will see sence and like you :)

I really like this boy at my school and on the first day of school I seen him, and I was really blowen away on how cute and nice and funny he is. And I sat right next to him and he whould flirt and he new I dident like the word blood so he whould always say blooooodddd then he whould smile and just laugh and laugh about it and once I was in the hall and it was the end of school and I seen him in the hall and he glanced over at me and was like bye Haley. ive liked this guy since december08, and EVERYONE in my year knows but he doesnt like me back.
i regret everything to be honest, he said he might be my boyfriend but i practically started stalking him and i asked his best friend what he did every night & it was pathetic!
he even said that i followed him! he was a mosher/goth, and i even changed into a mosher/goth JUST for him!
i would talk about him all the time. i was in love with him! he knew i only thought he was hot because he has long hair, so he even cut it short and stopped being a mosher just for me!
he would call me ugly & everything, & i even lost friends because i changed for him so it was such a mistake!
i still like him, even though hes treated me like crap, somehow i’m still in love with him. though i tell myself & everyone else that i’m not in love with him, i know deep down that i am!
i’m 12, but you cant say i’m too young to be in love. is there a rule that you have to be over 18 to be in love? NO!
i love him more than anything, i’d take a bullet for him. ive read the comments and i cant move on, no one seems to understand!

Heyy..thankss..everyone who has posted something has really helped becuz there was this guy who i really like nd we have a lot in common. I’ve also known him since kindergarden and im in 9th grade. But he told 3 of my friends stright up..he doesnt like me becuz we are too good of friends.It really hurt me nd i could never stop thinking of him. All of my friends are always telling me to go out with him..i really want to..but he just doesnt like me. After reading all of these posts.I’ve tried moving on but its hard. I like this boy…and i had a party and he came i was like hi, he came over and sat next to me i was hows it going, and he put his arm round me and holding my hand, i know this sounds corny but we even looked at the stars together…then we started walking and talking then he hugged me and sed i like you and kissed me and i was like i like you to, then this ‘incident’ happened which had nothing to do with me i told him that but he wouldnt listen and now he hates me and i really dont know why!!! and its so hard, and he is GINGER! if i did go out with him i would get the mickey taken out of me!!! The boy i like isnt in any of my classes, but hey! he danced with you so you must have done something riht, just be patient it could end with girlfriend until that happens just talk to him and keep a friendship going till its gets a really good friendship and if it does end be there for him, but just keep waiting and then when you guys are really close GO FOR IT! good luck! x

I know how all of you feel, i thought things were going good, until i asked this guy to homecoming on FB he replied after the dance, he didn’t even go to the homecoming dance and then a few days later i was walking in the halls and he was in a big group with his friends and one of his friends yelled “F- off” and my crush laughed, then i walked away and was telling my friends what happened when he walked by and just looked at me until i dropped my gaze and then he turned and looked back at me again. That same day he gave me a hug though and it wasn’t a bear hug but he hugs a lot of people. Now there was a rumor that he said he hated me and one of his friends told my friend that he doesn’t like me. He ignores me on FB chat but in the halls all he does is look at me. I have no idea what to do, but I don’t really want to give up.
What I’ve learned in the past is wait and don’t push it if it isn’t supposed to happen but if something deep down is telling you not to give up don’t.

Okay, well I’ve never kissed a boy or even properly dated anyone, I went out with this boy for ages when we were younger but we hardly spoke so it doesn’t really count.
Anyway, now I really fancy him again and I know I wouldn’t be so shy this time if we went out again. Problem is, after fancying me for 3ish years he has now given up, and he fancies my friend.
