Set up an appointment with your doctor and call the nurse line.
If it is really bothering you, go to a clinic or emergency. :)

It sounds like a blister to me. Did you recently get a new pair of shoes or did you wear your shoes with wet socks?

Here are some blister prevention tips: http://walking.about.com/cs/blistersc…

it started today and it’s never happened before.

it’s possible it could be a blister but i’ve never had one this painful before, and i havn’t got new shoes or wet socks.

it doesn’t look like a wart, i don’t think it would be gout because gout is a joint problem i think, and this isn’t

it’s nothing serious, as far as I can tell.

Hi. Of course it’s hard to tell, and you should go to the doctor, but it could be a small wart. Removal is simple and there are may ways to have it removed if that is what it is. Don’t try to remove it yourself because warts tend to have roots (like a plant if you will). It may be irritated from wearing shoes. Look at it. If it has a little indentation in the middle that is what it could be. Warts will grow and tend to cluster, meaning more will show up in the same area if not taken care of when it’s small.

I have something under the skin on my next to the little toe on the bottom. It appears as little white dots under the skin all clustered in an area a little larger than the size of the top of a pencil eraser. I hurts when you put pressure on it. I went to a podiatrist and he suggested using wart removal pads - which I did for about a month and removed several layers of skin. But now it seems to be worse. Any ideas what it could be or how to cure it?
thanks

Hi tatsotso,

I have exactly the same thing, have you found out what it is and have you received a successful treatment?

Tatsotso:

I have the exactly same thing. On top of my foot close to my toes is a cluster of three very tiny white dots in an area a little smaller than a pencil eraser. It is slightly raised and can become irritated and slightly painful when messed with. I haven’t seen a doctor and have no idea what this is. It’s been with me for about six months, and has slowly developed. I think the white bumps are relatively new; the first time I noticed anything there it looked like a cut. Please, if anyone can shed light on this, it would really help.
