Mind help: i have trouble sleeping. - Help.com

i have trouble sleeping.

there isnt anything imoportant on my mind, and i always plan for 8 hours of sleep a night, but recently i’ve onyl been getting 6-7 hours. i hav cicles under my eyes and im only 13. wat can i do?

Try doing things that make you tired like during the day maybe get out and run around a bit or do something that makes your brain tired like read a book it might work

I think it isn’t a big problem, I’m 15 and last year I slept six hours and I didn’t need more. Now I’m in other situation (I sleep 14 hours a day I guess).
Don’t worry, just try to keep yourself doing things and you’ll be tired, so you’ll can sleep more time.

I listen to music too, or read books. If you like writing, you can spend long time thinking with a notebook on your bedtable.

i listen to ocean sounds…its very soothing….i also walk around to help get the anxiousness out of me before i go to sleep

Have your mom take you to the doctor and request a sleep clinic, I suffered for years with sleeping problems. As a child I though I was lazy and just like to sleep a lot. But a sleep study concluded I have alpha intrusions which interfer with my ability to get sound sleep. If my body looked like it was a sleep for 8 hours, than I probable only got 3 hours of sleep. Go to the doctor.

do you snore? that may be a prob. my mom had a horrible snoring problem and went to a sleep clinic to get it checked out and found that she stops breathing for a few seconds constantly through the night b/c of the snoring..yours doesnt sound to serious..but just a thought.
