This is a TEST post. It is only a test. If it had been a real post, it would have been much more interesting.

I found a story of a child who recalled a previous life and all the facts panned out. I’d rather see this reported by reputable media, before buying into it. But, here’s an excerpt:

“Is there a scientific basis for reincarnation? Indian forensic scientist Vikram Raj Singh Chauhan is trying to prove reincarnation is real. He has presented his findings at the National Conference of Forensic Scientists in India.

Chauhan has discovered a six-year-old boy named Taranjijt Singh who says he remembers his previous life. According to his parents, he’s been talking about this since he was two years old and used to run away from home. The boy knew the village he lived in during his former life, as well as his and his father’s names. He knew the name of the school he attended as well. On September 10, 1992, he was riding his bike home when he was hit by a motor scooter. He received head injuries and died the next day.”

Just google the scientist’s name for the whole story. All web addresses psoted here seem to be cut off on the end preventing anyone from going to teh link. So no point in me copyig it here.

I wouldn’t be surprised if some sort of ‘memories’ are passed genetically as part of nature’s way to warn the generation after from certain experiences (e.g. where home is, or to avoid eating insects with yellow and black stripes, etc), and think that it may have an affect on people’s reincarnation experiences.

In terms of philosophical possibility, I don’t think so. One thing I’m quite sure of is that I am me, that I have always been me whilst I am and that I always will be me at the core. What a nightmare to have to then be someone else!! I’m happy being me.

Reincarnation? I read a lot about reincarnation and some of the renowned (and not so renowned) psychologists and psychic mediums that have done work in the area. Religion has been quite the hot-button forum topic over the past two days, so I thought I would throw this one out and see if I couldn’t start a debate of my own. Any thoughts?
