Go get an xray done - could be some thing wrong with it. Like underlying issue of nerves caught or some thing! could permantley do some damage!

keep you arm up as much as possible… it helps to keep the blood flow down so reduces the swelling - also - can you take advil? that also reduces swelling.. i think aspirin can help too (if you are not allegic). but the keeping your arm up, above your heart - if you have a sling - use it - will really help. i’ve busted alot of things… lol - the heart is the worst! but arms are not too fun either.

but - doctors can make mistakes… if none of this helps, contact doctor again and make them check it out - they may have set your arm wrong… unfortunately it can happen - rare - but worth another look. do not let them make you feel like a wimp. they should at least give you some better medication if the swelling is still bad, but after 2 or 3 days you should not be so bad. don’t be scared, but be smart if you are feeling worse - call the doctor :) ((((XxBrokenxX)))

I broke my ulna and my radius simultaniously in a snowboarding accident. WOW…did that hurt like hell. The worst was when the doctor had to set the bone in place. As I lay on my back he squeezed my arm between his legs as if her were opening a really tightly sealed jar and then slowly squeezed the bones into place…Just thinking about it is excruciating. I had a cast past my elbow for 6 months. Luckily it healed just fine and I have been snowboarding and breakdancing ever since. My advice to you…dont worry…You should be going in for xrays once in awhile to see how the progress is going and the doc should be able to see if it is healing well. The pain will get worse at first and then come in swells here and there untill it slowly dimishes after awhile. Just hang in there and it will be ok. If the xrays show good healing…you just need to fight the pain for awhile. GOOD LUCK!
