That might take a while, depending on how much you have on it since you bought it. Delete every file and empty the recycle bin. Uninstall any programs or games you’ve installed since you bought it. Use the disk defragmenter thing. You have to be careful though not to delete anything that your computer runs on.

go to my computer then go to control panel, then go to system double click on it then find where it says system restore and click there that will do a system restore and u will loose anything u want to keep on there but it will make the computer the way it was when u first bought it

OK let’s talk simplicity here. I gotta bug on my home pc. Oh yeah I’m now on my laptop! So I want to wipe the drive and start over. My system is XP, what is the process for getting back to the beginning and getting rid of the bug!

hi ALL.

Im in need of help! i want to install XP on a system that at this time has Vista.
i have looked in to dual booting but i dont have the origenal XP boot disk. how ever i found a way i could do it but i need to fins a way to eather download or find all the drivers my system has and uses right now and put them on to disk so when i format i can then reinstall windows.

if any one knows a way i can do this i would greatly apreciate it.

hey umm i have a question i want to restore my computer as well but the thing is when i click on system restore it doesn’t say anything. it just says that the status is completly monitoring the whole system how do i fix it.
