service help: Having digital art printed? - Help.com

Having digital art printed?

I need to know about professional printing services. Specifically, art printing services. I’m a fractal artist, and I would like to submit a few of my pieces to a traditional gallery. [I know they’re good enough to sell, because I’ve sold them at smaller sizes before, so no worries about that. :)] My worry is that I will end up using a really low-quality place that’ll cost a lot but not be what I need. Can anyone help/direct me to someone that can help?

I’d look for small service shops in your area. Once in a blue moon you might find a person at a kinko’s type place that can do a decent job, but 90% of the time they can hardly load a CD right side up. :/

Most small times places will work with you to make sure large prints are right without running the bill to high — and they’ll remember your name for next time :)

All righty, I think I’ve found a place that might work. :D Part of my problem is, I live in a capital city. While that’s good for me because it means there are lots of galleries, it’s also bad because there aren’t a lot of mom n’ pop shops. -.-’ Any potential warning signs I should look for as far as a shop being bad would be much appreciated if anybody has any. ^_^ It’s going to be a while before I can go in to get the images I want printed.

I had a piece of digi art done at Kinkos a few yrs ago, and they were carefull, and knew just how to do it. It was done on Canvas, and a marvolous job at that.
