I don’t know, I guess I’ve always just thought that a conscience is a part of you that knows and tells you what’s right and wrong. I have one, and I use it sometimes :)

conscience i think sometimes is a mirage. a belief in the “I”. There are fun things, and sad things. Good things, and pathetic times. That’s what goes on. Conscience is not always present, but only when we recognize a situation as one that has to do with morality. For instance, when we drive and are making a lane change, we don’t associate any of the situation with morality. When we see an animal trapped in something, we stop and recognize that this situation probably has something to do with morality, and thats when conscience kicks in.

I agree that my conscience does not control my daily route unless I cross a line. You call it a moral line. I can see that.
