Ladies- Hey everyone quick question here, I know this

will sound bad but I have a 15mth old, and I have had maybe 2 regular periods since well before she was created. so its been a while, besides that I’ve had really short ones that werent very heavy that lasted a day or two. The last period at all was the end of January. I have taken like 6 or so pregnancy tests, and nothing-all say not pregnant, and there is no hint of the second line. I have had a lot of stress with college, bills and family but is it that normal for me not to have anything since then? I dont know if this could have to do with it but when I had my 6 week check up after ha ving my daughter, my doc. called and said that I needed to get a coloscopy because she found possibly pre-cancerous cells when she did my pap. Well my husband lost his job and our insurance about a week later, so I knew we couldnt afford the test. We have insurance now, but I am honestly scared to go back in, I am in a different town, a new doctor, and I am worried that something could be wrong. My husband and I have had unprotected ya know twice now, both times we thought we wanted to have another one, so they were close in age-dont worry now we want to wait, but we do that, so could it be possible that I am pregnant? I am not having any signs though and the tests all said negative. Any advice? Opinions?

Just go to the dr, if something is wrong then you can catch it early. Since you are under a lot of stress that can have a major effect on you periods, i suppose that there could be a chance your pregnant has there been any other symptoms? Just try and not stress out because that can make things a lot worse. It will be ok. The pic of your baby is so cute!!!!!

You shhould go to the Dr., NOW. This could be nothing or a serious problem easily fixed, IF you catch it early. Cancer is nothing to play around with. Do it for your daughter. I lost my mom to cancer and you do not want that for your sweet litle girl. Everybody´s menstral cycles are different. Sometimes birth controll pills can help regularize menstral cycles. Ask your doctor. Take care and all the best.

i vote for the same thing: visit the doctor. you never know what’s going on really and the process of having anything to solve is much difficult if you do not know the exact problem of your health. i have problems with it myself and too much stress can be one too. BUT, our bodies react differently as each of us got unique systems. i am sorry to hear about your worries. when are u planning to visit the doc?

Get your body to the doctor! This is nothing to mess around with! My daughter-in-law has cervical cancer and HOPEFULLY they found it early enough! Remember, cancer anywhere can invade other parts of your body and spread like crazy. The longer you wait to take care of it the more treatments and/or surgery will be needed…so don’t walk…RUN…to the doctor and do whatever you have to do to take care of YOU.

Thanks everyone, I know I need to go to the doctors, and your worries and points are right, the weird thing is I lost my Mom to cancer too, but I was only 6 so I dont remember her that well, and I def. dont want my daughter to not have her mom. Just nervous I guess, My gyno back where I use to live said its not too painful, you gave birth to a child, you can handle this- HELLO that wasnt a walk through the park haha, anyways I know I need to do it. I will try and call around today in a little bit. I dont have a doc. up here. I havent been to the doctors since she told me I needed to get the coloscopy done. And no there are no other symptoms of pregnancy, I new the first time I was pregnant with my daughter-I had obvious signs and only took the test to confim it in my head, but this time I dont. I dont want to go to some crap doctor, I dont know how to go about finding one. We just got my daughter a new one because she needed shots, but he’s male and thats just weird to me. ANy advice on how to find a good doctor? Thanks everyone!

Hey- Stress makes you miss periods, and so does a thyroid problem.
I went through the whole colposcopy thing twice in the past 28 years, all is well and aok. It pinches like a shot, NOTHING like child birth. Check the website for the closest hospital or medical center to you. That’s where your search for a DR. begins, and ask a neighbor. If it ends up being a male Dr., it’s aok. Be good to yourself, the longer you put it off the more worry YOU feel and the worse a condition can get if there is one at all. And most of the time there was nothing to worry about at all.
