my fiance and i have 3 children under the age of 5

and we have lost our home we are staying with his mother but have to be out by the first of june and have no where else to go.we need some financial help to move into a place but have no money to pay back a loan also have no time to wait for a grant.what do we do?

I don’t know what your current job situation is, but I would suggest you find a way to get as many jobs as you can. Even if it’s only for a few months to catch up and get back on your feet. The best way to help yourself is to do it yourself, not rely on others. I’ve been there, so hang in there. Don’t take out a loan. You are only going to get yourself in deeper. If you want something you have to work for it. There are a thousand ways to earn money, be creative, be flexible. Also, check your “budget” and make it work for you. Cut out the non-essentials, cable tv, cell phones, junk food. Sometimes you have to rough it and work hard, but you’ll come out ahead. Good luck!

Have you tried HUD? that’s what it is called in texas. It helps people with little or no income get housing, also go to the welfare dept. the have lots of resources and can give you advice.Churches also help in these situation, salvation army, go to the chamber of commerce. Hope some of this will be helpful, good luck.
