I’m trying to raise $2000 more for a charity called Big City Mountaineers by May 30th.

I am doing this through their fund raising program called Summit for Someone. The charity takes at-risk teens from economically depressed urban areas on backpacking trips in various national parks for a week. They do this to give the teens self confidence and a positive adult mentoring experience in a challenging, natural setting. For most of the teens (62% in 2006) on these trips it is their fist time leaving the county they live in. If you would like to donate and help me towards my fund raising goal, you can donate here
