Broken Wings; my newest poem.

Broken wings can be mended,
And used to fly

Broken hearts can be mended too.
Mine was broken because of you.

But I’ll pick up all the peaces, and put them together,
And I will fly once again.

You weren’t the one, I see that now,
But you’ve helped me make better wings to fly on

And now soaring above the world,
I can search once more, for that truly special someone
