All planned Out

the man on his street had his life planned

after graduating college, he would go and work in the electronics industry

after about 2 and a half years, and 3 promotions,

he would get married with his girlfriend

and after a year, have a girl, and a 3 years later, a boy

he would continue to work at this job untilhe was 46, at which time he would retire, and start his advertising company

at the age of 70, he would turn the business over to his son, and would devote the rest of his life to seeing the world

at the age of 76 he would die in his sleep, before his wife

I have it all planned! he declared, and without looking, walked into the street

He was hit my a bus, and died 3 hours later in the hospital

never having done the things he’d planned

I think the moral is to live in the now. If we concern ourselves with our futures too much, we won’t notice the bus (which could symbolize something else) thats about to run into us.

I like that. I think it’s ok to plan for the future, just not to plan the results.

The moral is to look both ways before crossing the road right?

13Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” 16As it is, you boast and brag. All such boasting is evil. 17Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins.

James 4 13-17

True. Happens too often. Thanks!

Yeah, I can’t wait to get an iPhone. Those things blow iPods out of the water and then some. Go to apple.com to check it out. Unbelievable.

That has a good point. I don’t see the point of planning out our lives. Live each day and enjoy it. don’t take it for granted. and love as much as you can. thanks for sharing this with us will. ^_^
