(Unless you are talking about a game, but I know of none.)
It’s not pirated… It’s the actual Spiderman 3 movie-based game from Activision.
In that case, it would be a problem with your videocard/monitor.
My first guess is that the game is trying to start in a resolution to high for your computer and is causing the monitor to “deactivate” because it can’t show the image at such a size.
Try turning down the initial resolution settings for the game. Either through a config program or via some command line parameter. You’ll have to search their support site for how to do this, most likely.
I’m having the same problem, it’s not a monitor issue. When I press enter continously, it loads the game. I then see a bunch of strange grey graphics on my screen when it runs through the story, but nothing distinctive.
I am running the game on Vista, but I have cracked it so I will first try a different No-CD Crack and post back if it works.
This seems to be a graphical issue. I have tried with and without No-CD cracks to no avail.
I am using an Ati Radeon X800, Catalyst v7.5 and an Xbox 360 Controller.
Okay I’ve just figured out that my Graphics Card is only Shader Model 2. For this game you need Shader Model 3. Go to http://www.systemrequirementslab.com to check your compatibility. This is ridiculous since Spiderman is a **** game not state-of-the-art or anything. Also, my card only came out 1 and a half freaking years ago. This is going way too far developers. I, for one, am not going to buy a new card to play this game.

my video card is 128 MB and it happens to me too. if you dont understand whatys going on its like this. i change game.exe to the cracked 1. i double vlick spiderman3.exe. everyhing turns black. the monitor isn’t of, but its just at fullscren at 0 colors. i need to know how to fix this.

I’m having the same issue, I have sucessfully installed Spiderman 3 game. when I tried to start, it shows me black screen with audio output. As per the system requirements, I have p4 2.4ghz, 1.5gb ddr, 256ddr grapics card (NVIDIA 5000 series).
I think as per system requirements my pc matches, but i could not able to start the game. Will this game works. Does any one play this game b4.

hey ppls….. I think you dont have 3D Gamening Card installed in your system. You have to install 3d Game Card To Play Spiderman 3. Try it. It will work.

u need a graphic card that is nvdia geforce 6 series or better[geforce 7 series or 8 or 9] to play spider man 3,i dunno about ati.and u cannot play on geforce fx 5 series[5000 series]

you have to change video card to shader model 3.0 or above.believe me.my system requirements are ok,unless video card,maybe i will change it too. check http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/ and you can see which game you can run on your pc with your requirements.

I installed the game and copied the crack but when I try to start it I get a window with wich says Spider Man 3 has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem. After I wait a little it says A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. Please help me because I really want to play this game!

if you have a controller or something like that then unplug and it will work.
this worked for me but i cant play with my logitech rumble pad theres something with the crack that *****up everything…please help.. i wanna play with my logitech controller thingy :’(

I have core 2 dual, Vista Ultimate x64, Nivida card 512mb direct x10 exceeds requirements 8gb of ram 1.25tb of space, full HD monitor and opened black space then did video drivers upgrade x64 and unplugged old joy stick than added new unit xbox 360s style but get intro screen and still can not play game.
It says on box fully vista compatable, min 7300 gt with 256mb required with direct x9c shader 3.0, 2x speed dvd rom, 1536mb of ram, 6gb hd space 600mb swap, pentium 4 2.8ghz or better.
when i hit enter my screan is black just like it supose to enter the game but an error pops saing spiderman 3 has encounterd a problem and needs to close what shoould i do?
