Set your burner to burn as an Audio CD, and not an MP3 CD. Almost every CD Burning program has that option. All the tracks will be burnt to a CD in the .AIFF format, so just drop your mp3 files into the program, set it to be an Audio CD, not a data/file CD, and it will burn it properly.

Thank you Marconius I was not sure if the audio option would convert the files or not. Have you got any sugestion for file that skip when burnt. The original mp3 don’t skip but the burned files do.

Skipping can be the cause of a few things, namely what type of CD-Rs you are using to burn and how fast you are burning the CDs. What application are you using to burn, and are you using Windows or a Mac?

Some coatings on the backs of CD-Rs can cause music to skip when played in an older CD player.

Usually the program you use to create an audio cd will handle it all for you, one of the best I’v found is from www.ashampoo.com - their Burning studio5 (latest version is 6) - it’s excellent!
