just go with the flow and if there is a person that dances really well try to copy them or practice alot in your room. I know that sounds weird but it works. Watch music videos or try dance classes

You probly hav no rythym if your making a fool of urself on the dancefloor. dont bother fixing it, it wont happen ever

SCHOOL DANCE IS AN OXY MORON u dont dance at a school dance unless a girl u asks u to dance if tht happens then just groove to ther music and move around

Practice while you can. At the dance, you can follow the boy’s lead. Slow dances are easy, you can just rock with the rhythm.

when i was younger and going to the teen dances it first i stood around and watch and think man i wish i could do that then i figured what the heck some of the other people on the floor looked a little silly i could not do much worse
so i got on the floor moved my feet shook my but waved my arms and one of the best times in my life after a few times i really diidn’t care what anyone else thought i was having fun and even getting good at it so best thing to do is practice and have fun On slow dances you usually just move back and forth and walk in circles

Your not the only 1 who cannot dance … hahaha … Im awful at it and will prolly fall over or step on ya toes! so I would not worry aboout it - your friends are prolly worried about the very same thing!

one thing to do is get with your friends as often as possible and dance your hearts out at your place or theirs just have fun and you will steadily get better

what kind of dance are you talking about? i don’t know how to dance to fast music, but i can tell you how to slow dance:

1. get someone of the oppisite gender to dance with you
2. wait until a slow song comes on
3. boy: put your hands on the girls waist
girl: put your arms around the guys neck

this is a little embarrassing at first, but you will get over it.
