night help: i never sleep. - Help.com

i never sleep.

not properly anyway. im up til god knows when. for example, its 3am right now, and i have work at 6am. my alarm will be going off at 5am!! i really need help learning to sleep, how to know when im tired, how to fall asleep, to rest. how to prepare my body during the day for sleep at night. what can i do!!?

stop spending so much time on the internet, it sucks the life out of you! believe me, if you’re not being entertained/distracted by the internet, you’ll get bored and sleepy and quickly fall asleep :)

Get in a routine. Try and eat dinner a couple of hours before bed, like 3 or so. Go lay down around the same time. If you don’t fall asleep within 20-30 minutes after laying down, get back up and go in another room for a while. A hot bath also helps, or anything that relaxes you. Once you are used to the routine, then at what ever time you lay down, you will fall asleep fast. Good Luck!!!
