It’s natural to expect but dont expect something too much cuz then it has the power to disappoint you if it doesn’t go your way or it doesn’t go right.. I don’t know how I put my frame of mind into this but it works for me :)

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst! In relationships I found it easier to to raise my standards, but lower all expectations.
