A while back, I heard a girl singing a beautiful song on a TV pefromance.

I’m trying to find the name of it. O.K. Here goes. She was playing the piano. I believe she had red hair. It was maybe Tori Amos or Sarah MacLachlan. The song was kind of celtic and the lyric had “la-dee-la” in it( or something like that). It had a haunting sound like the celts. Can anyone help? I’ve been searching lyrics for months.

That’s the thing. I don’t remember. Maybe Regis and Kelly. It was a day time show.

It was over a year ago. I think it was Tori Amos, but the style was more like Sarah MacLachlan.

oh. a year ago and you’re still looking? Really liked the song, huh?
Did you try going on amazon or some website that sells cds and see if you can listen to samples of their songs?
Sorry I can’t be of any more help.

Yes. I’ve gone to Rhapsody and played almost everything. I found a site that has 90 Sarah Maclachlan songs. I’m still going through them all. Thank you. I’ll keep trying. The song is almost like a lullabye. La-dee-lie-dee-die. Or something like that. HELP!!!

You could also try searching www.youtube.com for the song. Do you think that if you saw the lyrics you would remember the song, or would you have to actually hear the song again?

I would remember it immediately. I must be getting old or something.
