Do you have a Job? If you don’t look for one immediately. even if you do, consider getting a side job. look all over, you will find one. If you have a good job, consider asking your Boss to give you some sort of a loan.

Do you have cash? start investing wisely, keep it safe with your banker. If you have any junk lying around, or any extra cars think about selling them.

Mostly, Pray. You will get through this situation, only you will get through it several possible ways.

Do you have children? consider hiring a neighborhood kid to come over and babysit for you, unless the kids are old enough to stay home alone.

do you have somewhere to live? surf for the cheapest places you can find. Motel 6 even, if you can find nothing else.

Be careful of what you buy. shop at the thrift store and goodwill, and 99cent store instead of best buy, sears and JCPenny.

Yes I work full time at home, and make a fairly decent living. But that doesn’t matter cuz of the credit issue. I never have any left over though for investing. I would be really scared to invest, but wish I knew how to. I have a small window, very small window of hope. Another banker here in my town has agreed to meet with me and talk over my options. I over the past 2 yrs I have been getting small personal loans in order to build good credit. I paid on time and paid them off, so that is in my favor. Also, i pay my rent on time, that helps too. Soooo pray pray pray that this man can work miracles for me, cuz I’m running out of time. Thanks for your input!

I’m not sure what to say, but I will pray for you!
I guess negotiating with bankers may help. They are people, so they can be convinced with the right speech.

Yeah, a prayer chain would certainly help. I am counting on using the human aspect of it when i see him tomorrow. I think it is very unfortunate that the divorce has ruined my credit and I have done so much to prove I am credible.. so I am going to pour my soul out to him and make him believe how credible i am. :) so yeah.. prayer would help… (with my luck i’ll have a meanie loan guy). maybe i should dress provocatively. lol

Things seem to happen for a reason, and there always seems to be a way out. It may be right in front of you and you don’t see it, similar to when you misplace your sunglasses because they’re on your head. Anyways, let me know how it goes! Best of luck!

I need someone who is wise in finances to advise me. Okay, when i got divorced, we had a lot of medical debt. We had decided that rather than file bankruptcy, he would take what showed on his credit report, and i would accept what is on mine. I have been working on mine for 2 yrs now, trying to get it all cleaned up so I can buy a home. I am getting close, so the banker I have been working with pulled another credit report today to see if we are ready to move ahead. To my dismay, I guess my ex has a court judgement against him, and he is being garnished. That is showing as a judgement against me also, since it was a bill incurred during our marriage. This is 7,000 and wont be paid off anytime soon. Banker says with that on there, my chances of a loan as slim to none. I dont know what to do. How can I own a home? I have to have a home by August. What can people do with poor credit, and little downpayment to get a loan?? I can’t rent, there is nothing to rent in my town I’m going to . NOTHING. I have looked for 9 months now. I am so upset right now. All the hard work I have done is ruined now. I didn’t even know about this. He said I should have gotten a summons like he did.. but I never did. Any advice PLEASE!!
