i found this dog..its really nice…

it has tags…i called the owner # listed.. but they dont return the calls..i went by the house and it looks as if no one has been around for a week+ …. should I just keep it…..

You should report him as a missing dog to your local vet and humane society. Also, run an ad in your paper with a description of him and where he was found.

It’s possible that the family moved and has changed numbers and somehow the dog got lost in the move. The family may have reported him missing. Please check your paper for missing dog ads and also with the above two agencies before giving up.

I know if I lost my dog, I’d be heartbroken and the first thing I’d do is call the humane society and run an ad in the paper.

Thanks for trying to find the owners though (and for caring for their pup).

county stated…rabi tag # not in system… rabi tag issued to a vet to dispense…contacted vet…said not there # and no info…….. no liscenes…either…..one more calll….i care about my dog…so I would search hi & lo….. one last shot..i will file the lost dog repourt w/county then adopt dog out or keep it…..

i found the owner…finally after dozen calls…kinda makes me worry about loosing my dog….. im getting a chip…they do it cheap at the apl….

My daughter’s dog ran away from his sitter last weekend in St Petersburg while she was out of the country on a trip — so if it is her dog, she would not have gotten the messages. What kind of dog is it?? We are very desperate to find him!!!
