god help: At what point is this self proclamed church going to start following the Word of God? - Help.com

At what point is this self proclamed church going to start following the Word of God?

By that I mean the bible. It clearly states that God doesnt hate anyone. Yet this cult claiming church claims he does. I am also confused as to how protesting funerals can convince the deceased to change. Shouldnt they be in Washington instead of desicrating the deaths of those who fought for the freedoms they are exploiting? At what point do these anti-american people get to be held accountable for thier actions? They get the freedom of speech and religion, I understand that, But they are not supposed to be able to force thier beliefs onto others which last I heard was unlawful. How do we stop them?

I think he means churches in general saying that God hates gays and the like…obviously not all churches believe that, but I think those are the churches he means.

oh yeah ok I see. I don’t agree with churchs at all. Gays are as good as anyone. I love them!

Unfortunately, there are churches and people who claim to represent the church doing things like this. It gives everyone else the wrong idea. It’s just like elders grouping teenagers…they think they are all bad or up to no good, when in reality, most are just fine. I apologize for their unchurch like actions. They are wrong. They shouldn’t say and do things like that. Elizabeth, you are right. A person is not automatically bad just becuase he or she is gay. The true biblical perspective is this…being gay is a sin. But everyone sins. That’s why God offers forgiveness to those willing to repent. He doesn’t hate gays…He loves them as much as the next person. He hates the sin, but He loves the sinner. Just like in an ideal family, if the child (us, as sinners, which we all are) is disobedient, the parent (God)is not happy, and usually tries to correct the child. But they do it in love (keep in mind, I am talking about in the ideal family). They do not harshly throw the child on the streets…they discipline in love in order to teach the child. This way the child grows up safe, and learns a necessary and valuable life lesson. Again, I apologize for those unChristian actions…please know that most churches are not like that. I know…I am a Christian, and I and my church would never accept that as biblical or right.

What do you mean by anti-american? Beliefs are forced on us daily, all of the news stories, media, tv, newspapers. All of these things are brainwashing and distracting us from whats really happening in the world. I agree with you, they should be going to washington and not the funerals. Here’s a link about religion… http://elroy.net/ehr/fighttheright.html Ignore the title of it, its quite good if you actually read the whole thing.
