I imagine as we get closer and closer to a world economy this is going to become inevitable, really. At some point there will be an Earth government even. Probably not in the next 500 years, but eventually. Cultures will mix, diversity will cross pollinate, etc.

I am surprised. There are not as many people as should be aware of this up and coming change. It is not a matter of whether or not we want it. It is a matter of when we will be forced to change. The time is coming when our government will not have any other choice but to come to gether with Canada an Mexico creating one econmic block. We will have to do that if we want to continue to compete with E.U. The E.U is on a yearly bases, growing one country at a time and can continue to grow adopting as many countries as it can. There is another such movement in Asia and one in Africa. Singapore will soon be a cashless society and every one will be buying everything with their cell phone. It is only a matter of time before the world will divided into several economic blocks with each one having only one currency.

Actually ChuySkywalker there is already an International Criminal Court system which the United
States has so far refused to be a part of. But people like John Kerry and others are gunghoe about it. Unesco is already in charge of many historical sites in many countries including the US. They are called “World Heritage Sites”. There is also a world law inforcement agency called Interpol and I am sure you are aware of the UN, The World Bank, The Security Counsel,and The World Trade Organization. So Chuy it is not going to be any 500 years before there is a one world government. We already have the foundations for one.
