What is the dog’s diet like? Maybe a change in fiber level will fix the problem. May need to see a vet about that - or just change dog food.

yeah… grass. as in lawn!

Dogs eat this constantly for just that reason, so if your dog starts eating grass, don’t stop them… they know what they are doing. Other than that, a vet can give em an enema(sp?) I don’t recommend you do that though… let a vet do it!

My dog does what rich said - eats grass. and sometimes leaves?
How long has she had this problem? If it’s more then 2 - 3 days get her to a vet.

I have 5 dogs and I give them people medicine for several things. I give my old fella gas X. It works….thank goodness! My vet actually said it was okay to give them benedryl if they needed to calm down or were having major skin irritations….so you might ask the vet about this. Of course SoulSearcher covered the scary stuff….but really, your dog just might be constipated. It happens.

this is not for me but my aunt she has a dog that the last few days has been pacing around, won’t lay down, if the dog tries to lay down it gets up and starts to pace again. she took the dog to the vet and the vet did blood work on the dog, the white blood cells came back elevated and liver count came back elevated, the dog has not had a bowel movement for a few days now, and really can’t eat nothing

hello your dog may have whip worm and will need treatment with a vet . it is a simple treatment plan but if you do not take your dog to the vet, you may have serious complications. nothing to mess around with. whip worm feeds off the intestine and can cause diarehea, constipation, pain, vomiting, etc.

get your dog to vet!

There should be some kind of laxatives for dogs, am I right? I think you should go and ask the vet about this, I assure you they will know the right answer. For how many days has your dog not been able to go?

I think there is a problem with the diet of your dog. You should try to change his diet. For the time being you should give some laxative to your dog
