life help: A thank you 1000. - Help.com

Copycat 1000.

Well the Fronde had a great idea, and to be honest, I’m gonna go and rip it off!!! lol This post will include my 1000th reply, and in it, a special message to a special someone. It’s an important thing to me. But first . . .

I don’t think anyone knows the story of me coming here. It’s kinda funny actually. I was at work some few months ago, on the brink of crying, you know those days. Anyways, I seriously just wanted someone to talk to, and randomly typed in (as a joke) www.help.com, and sure enough, here it was. Waiting for me. And, two very special people in particular were there for me. Hence the next section . . .

I’ve done thank you posts before, but there is a certian handfull of people, I need to thank:

First, and foremost:

CandP. Without you two, I would not be alive. No joke. I’d be long dead, and forgotten. You got me through tough times. You raised my spirits when I had nobody else to turn to. You’re the closest thing I have to a brother and a younger sister (hehe). You really showed me things I might never have if I hadn’t met you. And you also kicked me in the *** when I needed it. (My Mom thanks you by the way) So to the two of you, a hearty cheers. You are a miracle.

Chuy, FP, KT1, Eric, CM, all the Mods, and CNet. Without you guys, and gals, there would be no help.com. It’s a great idea, and wonderfully run. Really, there’s only one way to say this; Thanks guys, keep up the good work. (And quit letting Chuy trip on the server connections, seriously!!)

Jeb. Dude. Youre a real class act. One in a trillion. If anyone knows how to kick someone in the ***, it’s you. lol You’re someone I really consider a brother, and a true, true friend. When nobody else would, you were there to tell me to stfu. And listen to myself. You’ve given me some insight on things, that I thought I had a complete and total grasp on. You’ve made me wonder about things I never knew were there. And, you’ve been a good friend when I most needed one. I look up to you a lot, and although I know you hate me saying all of this, you’re family to me.

Bruce-motha *******-tuxedo! Dude, I am most proud of a day on help.com I talked to you. Not gonna go into detail, but you know what I’m talking about. Proud as hell of you, and honored like never before I could be a part of that.

Lostinspace. Well, you’ve helped me learn a lot about myself. We’ve had hard times, and like I’ve told you before, those are not how I weigh our friendship. I will always be here when you need me. Thank you for showing me I can do things, and overcome things, I never knew I could. Now, it’s my turn to help you do the same.

Now you are all, ALL special to me, and I would like to thank everyone that’s ever helped me, and everyone that will. But I only have so much finger strength, and so much time in my life. I came here a struggling ex-addict, barely able to cope with his daily issues. I stand here a stronger man, with a year under his belt, (with one minor slip up) and confident I can take on the world. You’ve all had a hand in that. One way or another. I thank you all for being the people you are, for that is a truly beautiful thing, and we are truly a strong and beautiful community. I thank you all so much, again, for being who you are. You all rock.

Now, I did say I had someone super special to thank, and point out, I’m saving my reply for that. And here it is, my 1000th reply.
