and the animals ate the plants, which got there energy from the sun, and if the sun is powered by nucleur fusion, than everything is nuclear powered, in a sense

Okay… but what about tides? That’s caused by the gravitational pull of the moon, which would exist even if there was no sun.

And we get electricity from the tides… so there must be a percentage of electricity that is not nuclear-generated. But what percentage?
