Where were you?
You can also watch events on Help.com as they happen
I am just really learning about it myself but it is a seziure disorder
Thanks again It really sucks BC I can’t swim, ride a bike DRIVE or anything
Not being able to drive is pretty bad…. :(
yea really!!!! I am just learning and when they took away my permit it was horrible
Do you think you can get better and get your permit back?
Have you asked your doctors about your prognosis? Have you talked with them about medications yet?
Or are you just looking for a sympathetic ear?
Seizures are manageable in a lot of people with the proper medications and treatment. I hope your case turns out as well.
I am not just looking for a sympathetic ear….. I am curious as to anything anyone can tell me….. They have not actually given me a diagnosis yet…. they said they are pretty sure it is a form of epilepsy….. and I am on Keppra - an anti sezure med. just began it about 2 weeks ago and have only had one seizure since….. but I have two test comming up one at the dr’s office a 24 hour eeg and a study at an epilepsy unit of albany med Hospital
I know that they are treatable but fist they have to figure out exactly what the problem is
Ok gotcha. Sorry that I don’t have any personal experience that I can share with you. All I can say is be patient. And hope for the best. It’s possible that with time, your condition will be manageable and you can lead a “normal” life, as you did prior to your diagnosis.
I do wish you the best of luck though.
You might find some of these sites helpful. It’s my opinion that when faced with a problem, go directly to those who suffer for support. Maybe you can find some answers here.

Or do a search for yourself and see if you can find other resources online. Good luck.
***I’m not trying to send you away from here! Please don’t misunderstand. Just thought you might find some answers somewhere else too. :)
Oh thanks a lot for your advice I will check them out.

Epilepsys a nasty little bastard of a condition to have, considering your frequency of seizures im assuming its something of a bad case. Well firstly let me express how sorry I am to hear about that, although I dont know anyone who personally has it, ive heard how troublesome it can be.
Whilst I believe their are meds that will help control it I dont think it can be fully cured. Sorry babe, looks like youll have to lay off flashing japanese cartoons.
