Okay, so i used to have straight long hair, until i cut it short.

& now it looks horrible, so i tie it up. but when i put it down, the ends are crazy and it goes everywhere! i just want my straight hair back. what can i use? i don’t want to use straightners or perms. those damage hair. thanks

the great thing about hair is that it grows back. don’t sweat it. try buying some “frizz” control and use a straitening iron.

I understand that you do not want to use anything that can damage your hair so use conditioners and products for frizzy hair but also looked into what is known as a Japanese perm or thermal reconditioning depending how short your hair is it is a good option so you can return to the wash & wear lifestyle.

I’m luckily or unluckily (depends which way you look at it) blessed with dead straight hair which I find completely boring, so I’m not much help, although a couple of my friends had some luck with some straightening shampoo/conditioner. Perhaps you could try something like that in addition to a straightening serum? Visit your hairdresser, they will probably have the best advice for you :)

as long as you use heat protecting hair products like some types of leave-in conditioners using a straigtener is not as bad for your hair as some might think, i use a straightner about 3-4 time every week and my hair is still soft and natural looking
