I just don’t want them worrying or anything.

I understand. But it’s a slippery slope you’re stepping onto there. I believe antidepressant pills help no one. Tell us, what is making you depressed?

You shouldn’t feel afraid to talk to your parents about it. You should see a doctor, as there are a number of reasons why someone can be feeling depressed. Sometimes it’s a chemical imbalance, but sometimes it’s just a matter of counseling. Your parents are there to help you. They’d worry even more if it seemed like you had a problem and weren’t telling them anything. At least they would know what was up.

as Bionic says, the most important answer to you might be to the question of why you dont want your parents to find out.

But, in the spirit of help.com, I’ll answer your question. First, go to a doctor, without your parents, and explain why you need the meds. If doc thinks you need them, the doc will give them to you. If the doc wants to bring your parents into the mix, then the doc doesnt think you need them, and wont give them to you even if you do involve your parents.

repeat with multiple doctors till you get what you want.

you need to talk to your parents plus anti depressents arent usually reccomended for some one your age you could get even more depressed to the point of suicidal
