This is the first time I’ve ever posted on Help.com…

Don’t know what to expect so here goes…

I want to get involved in helping others more. So far, my life has meant nothing…just surviving, raising kids, day to day grind…not really giving anything back to society. Now I’m divorced, alone; the kids are finally out on their own and I am ready to get involved.

I’d like to hear how other people meet that need in their lives and what you do or have done to “make a difference”. Things like Habitat for Humanty and Feed the Children are all good, but, I might even like to go to other countries and teach or join a Christian mission. Please let me hear from you.

I am very politically active, especially where Marijuana comes into play. I am on the board of directors for NORML, which is a volunteer non profit organization.

I am terminal, so I help out on several support sites where new poeple come in confused and scared, so I hlep calm them and give them hope.

Driving cancer or dialysis patients to their appoints rocks.

Find something you are passionate about and then look it up on the web and get involved, even if it is anti marijuana ~snickers~, just get active in something that moves you ~smiles~.

I see your avatar has horses, perhaps the saving of wild mustangs or animal activism might be in your interest, or perhaps teaching children how to barrel ride. The options are endless and I am sure you will find your perfect match ~smiles~

you coud make a Reins with your horses.
Reins is where people teach handicapped kids how to ride.
My older sis did an internship there and she said it was great fun!
