You tend to get less due to the unfair bias of society! The actual average income is around $29k for men in full time employment and $26k for ladies!

blueman, that isn’t exactly true. In a lot of companies a man will make more than a woman at the same job because the man has been doing that job for over a decade, while the woman has been put on the fast-track to promotion by affirmative action and she’ll only do that job for two years. Figures don’t reflect the number of women entering management and executive positions in record time to fulfill newly set company quotas. Perhaps women may make less in business areas that undergo less government scrutiny, but at least in big cities there is enough of a trend (only 10-20 years old) of aggressive white-female advancement that we will begin to see a change in national income figures — at least if they are faithful. I feel sorry for men who are sucked into the belief that women as a whole are disadvantaged; some are, but opportunities are out there. Hopefully with the changing system we will see less women expecting men to hold open doors for them and give up their seats on the train, as they do here. The next time I see a young business woman cut off a man in his sixties for the elevator, I’m going to have a heart attack.

To further pound this home, there was a feminist article a few years back about a ’study’ on how women were more likely to be ripped off at car dealerships. Their reasoning was that women know less about cars and therefore are easier game for manipulation. The study generated a lot of interest by the media because it did seem to suggest that women were often duped out of of money. While most of the duping-stories were true and unexaggerated, the study failed to include the numerous cases where a woman was given a large discount at her dealership because the retailer was moved by ‘helpless female’. These cases were later brought into light and the study was discounted. It just goes to show you that the current progressive trend is geared towards white-females, and virtually everything you read about men vs women is part of that campaign; you really can’t trust it.
