i jsut started to install my vietcong game for pc and

when im in the first mission towards the end of the first part when you are just about to use the radio the game just shuts itself down back to my desktop why is this please help some 1 i have windows vista ultimate and i have the latest patch for directX 10 i have a nvidia geforce 6800 512mb ram and 1gb ram with 120 gb hard drive

I dont know what the solution to this is,but it does exactly the same for me!i cant understand why as the game runs fine up to that point!

Oh yeah my system is an AMD athlon X2 6000,an 8800GTX card,2 gig RAM,600GB hard drive & windows vista 32bit home edition.I think vista is the problem here as its been quite unstable with my other games as well,Company of heroes seems to crash quite a lot for no reason!i think we’ll just have to wait till microsoft gets its finger out and patches its buggy new OS enough to sort out its stability

Not yet,

Also with Hradbra anti-cheat 2.6v for multiplayer, it will kick your from a server using Hradbra due to most Vista users upgrade to Directx 10 - Directx 10 runs at a slower frame rate making the game think you are cheating, so I believe the whole vista / direct x 10 combo is a killer for Vietcong players in general.

i have the exact same problem, and its driving me crasy, THE BEST OLD SCHOOL GAME EVER AINT COMPATABLE WITH VISTA, its a nightmare i tell ya!

tho im gone try if it works with a lower direct x version, if it doesnt work then, im gone make a dual boot system with vista and xp cause this stupid computer doesnt have drivers for XP, **** u microsoft!
