BEFORE-The walls closing in, trapped, suffocating in this enclosure called life. Chains of loneliness bind me to the ground, slowly pulling me towards the seemingly inevitable fate that has been preordained for me. Pain, such horrific pain, endured with each breath, fear of deaths dark hand the only thing that prevents me from ceasing. My future, unsure and unwanted. My patience wears thin, my pointless existence overshadowed by the mask of bliss that I wear so willingly. I lay here, bleeding out from the wounds of my mistakes. Happiness, it seems, is just not meant for me.
AFTER- What is this, this feeling that has overtaken me. This blissfulness that makes my life so joyful. This incomprehensible happiness that makes me whole, makes me complete. This serenity that has laid waste to the hate in my life. This piercing light in my darkness that has shown me the meaning of my existence. Love. The weakened flame of my soul set ablaze by this emotion that I now undertake. The love that i feel for her can’t be effectively expressed in writing. The tounge of man knows no such words that can do this Love justice. The tears that I cry are no longer tears of sorrow, but tears of happiness. For my future is no longer a lonely one. I now have a reason to live, a purpose that drives me to become a better person. I yearn to prove my worth to her, for the Love that she feels for me is undeserved. She is more than I ever even dreamed of having. She is the answer to my prayers and I thank God every day for sending her to me. She is the blessing that I’ve been waiting for my entire life. The one that, despite all of my imperfections, Loves me for who I am. And eighty years from now, when im lying on my deathbed, my last breath will be spent declaring my Love for her one last time.
I’m in Love with you Tamara Kae Davis, and I always will be. From now until the end of eternity. My Love for you is everlasting.
