i’ve been busy the past couple nights, and now i’m so exhausted that i can’t really string together two helpful words, so… idk if anyone was really expecting to hear from me, but i’ll start making meaningful replies tomorrow :p

in the meantime, i found a recent pic of me that i like, so look at it! i was growing the beard for a play, and i straightened my hair just for fun… (it’s usually curly)

i think it makes me look vaguely like Jesus, and you have to admit, that’s cool :D

i don’t really know why i said anything about that either, actually.

but i did spend a while wondering “why does everyone have simpsonized avatars?” and then, as i was writing that post, i saw yours featured :p

and yes, i know that Jesus didn’t really look like a german/english boy :P

but sometime, i’ll have to post a picture of my normal, curly hair… it’s got much more poof :D

you KNOW… i’m very Catholic, and so are all of my friends at my school. i mean, it’s all very near and dear to us, and that’s putting it lightly.

…and we still had to laugh at that whole “christ chex” thing. he does have his moments… :D

um… is it “rhino husk”?

or is it actually highly keratinized skin, or is it actually hair that hardened in a strange way…

My question is: How do any of you KNOW what Jesus looked like? I mean it’s not like any one of use has seen him. It’s not like he has his photograph taken so we could compare…. Yet everyone on here seems to know what he looked like…. Interesting.

i can’t say that i know for sure what Jesus looked like

i can say that, being born in the Middle East, he most likely did not look like a german/english boy, but rather like a Jewish, Galilean boy.

They have a small idea of Jesus’ face imprinted with blood on a handkerchief. That’s what you get for taking care of good young Jesus when carrying the cross :-)

And Jesus DOES remind me of a hippie actually. Or vice versa.
