i’m hesitant about approaching her about it because it could damage the friendship between her and my ex. For her own sake, i’m cautious. what should i do??

elochka1976, it’s definately not because of my ex, its mostly an unfortunate coincedence. I’ve liked this girl for a while, she’s pretty and funny and nice. i met her through my ex and we’ve been friends for a while. i liked the friend more than my gf after a while, so i ended the relationship.

so she’s kinda the reason i broke up with my gf, not why i like her now.

thanks..if i tell her, like TBOBW and leyla said, then it’d b awkward and it mite seem desperate to her since it’s rite after a breakup, or seem like i’m using her as a recoil and to make my ex jealous.. those are all wrong impressions..

I am in the exact same position myself right now, Tho after my old girlfreind broke up with me, i am curently with her best friend right now. But how we are doing well is we don’t let “jade”(ex)know that we are.its a hard thing to do, but its been 2 months now, i might not try it, tho we kinda have it placed like online dating tho we get to see eachother not very often/
