Has anyone ever been employed by a large workplace that was NOT very political and/or cliquey?

Please tell me that such workplaces exist.

by political i assume you mean the game of who’s entitled to what and such at work. sure, they exist but i’m someone who prefers to work for myself. work, invest, do what you love and if you can make money at it great! but do it on your own terms. that’s my motto anyway.

remember the exercise, “If you had 1 million dollars (today that’s not much so lets make it 12 million) what would you do with your time?”

then whatever that is, that’s what you’re supposed to be doing for work. so, if you want to travel, be a travel agent. want to go scuba diving, become a scuba diver or even marine biologist, etc.

we should strive to do what we love, even if it means sacrificing the present to do it. er, whatever floats your boat.

That’s a very realistic reply. Thank you.
And, yes, that’s exactly what I meant by the use of the term “political”.

Yup. I work at a baseball stadium right now. Everyone’s nice to everyone, no matter what. Unless you’re an *******.

I’m a little embarrassed to ask, however what are MAX and ERMAS? They’re dislodging nothing in my memory, at the moment.

A job that fits that description is a job I would keep–regardless of pay.

…it averages about 40,000 a year if you work doubles and weekends…lots of shifts and the place is packed. its a great money maker, you can get burnt out a bit because youre always on your feet and sometimes dont get a break…but its worth it…this place is honestly like home to me.
