I do actually. http://python.org/ is a good place to download the runtime libraries. What OS do you use?

I’ve written a few python apps myself. Tis a very fun language to write applications with. After you install the runtime. Open up the command prompt and type python. The command prompt will try to teach you how to get started with python. what is really nice is that the documentation is built right into the source. So you usually you can type help([some command]) and it’ll give you the documentation on that command.

http://wiki.python.org/moin/Beginners… should get you started.

Yes. I’m a software developer. I write web applications for a living. I run OS X, Linux, and Windows. I am very knowledgeable. Why are you wanting to learn python?

We should go over to the help chat. It’ll be easier to interact. Yes, python is MUCH easier that C or C++. Especially if you’re just learning how to code.
