Get a gun and the next time they try to rob you, point it at them.

I am sorry to that you were robbed. Did they have a weapon? More than likely it was a crime of opportunity and they won’t buy you again. Maybe you should carry some mace, but I don’t suggest a gun.

whatever you get, you can get a permit for a concealed weapon for self defense purposes and its 100% legal.

It’s something in life that happens. Everyone has a reason for doing something, in this case you truly won’t ever figure out the motivation of those gangsters. Perhaps they mugged you because you were looking more vulnerable than others. To avoid situations like these, always keep a look out on your surroundings. Don’t go into dark places at night, stay away from areas where they hang out, try not to expose valuables or money to the public, etc.. Sure, there’s a lot of gangsters, but using violence against violence isn’t really an answer. It’s more like a last resort. Carry a concealed pocket knife (legal size) and just carry that around as a last resort.

Yeah, I mean, I walked past a big group of fierce looking gangsters before but the thing was that I didn’t look into their eyes. In fact, they told me hi. xD

What do you mean the school is made out of gansters. This past year I worked at a school where almost all the kids were in gangs or affilated with a gang and most of them didn’t mess with anyone in less they were representing from another gang. Just show respect and stay out of the gang problems and you will be fine.

Don’t put your head down, because that is a sign of weakness. Instead act normal and don’t get involved in any bs. Be respectful and cofident.

Keep your head held up. No eye contact doesn’t mean holding your head down, it means just not staring them down. Like Maximina said, just be yourself.

what were you doing when you got robbed? Did you see them before they came over to you? were you suspicious at all… any bad vibes that you ignored. Many muggings can be prevented if only the victim would be aware of their surroundings… and sometimes not placeing themselves in harms way. I KNOW THIS IS NOT A POPULAR IDEA, and I know there are times when muggings happen out of the blue… and I’M NOT talking about those (except maybe putting yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time). Take some responsibility in what happens in your life, and see what the results of that will be.

Unfortunatley some people have nothing better to do than to mess with others. I know in this day and age it seems a good idea to get a gun, or some other form of lethal weapon and seek retaliation. but heres the thing. I’m assuming there were more than one assailants and i can almost gaurantee they were carrying some weapon. so if u start stuff with them it will just get worse. My suggestion would be to not walk around alone if at all possible. Most robbers/gangsters/bad bad people shy away from crowds and go after the easiest prey. I’m sure u have at least one friend or aquaintance u can hang out with when u walk home from school or anywhere else u have to go. Hope this helped.
Steve

Cause you had money, now you are an easy target for not fighting back. Either stay away from their turf or learn how to defend yourself. Of course next time they might just knife you.

Occult don’t try to scare the boy. Occult what do you know about gangs. It was more than likely a crime of opportunity. Richard is right learn from this experience by paying more attention to your surroundings.

I grew up in segregation period. I went to a nice school and next thing I know I have to defend myself from being knifed. We had to create gangs to stay alive. This was back in the 70’s.

I lived on the streets in San Diego and Los Angeles. My family is from El Monte (East LA), so I know quite a bit about gangs my friend. And I know enough that if they are not wanna be little gang bangers from Monatana they would sooner kill you or anyone else that is not a member of their gang, because you do nothing to keep them alive.

Sometimes being blunt is the best way to help someone. This kid is lucky to be alive if they were actual ganstas.
