Thats a tough one!
I think the reason why mine has lasted years is because we both belive that in a relationship you shouldn’t have to “try” at it, you are just who you are warts and all, you respedt and trust each other and love each other even in the hard times

what does that mean?
You didn’t say how old and how many years in a relationship.
I have been with my husband happily for 6 years now and we have 2 great kids

My wife and I have been together for 17 years, and 15 of them married. We have talked about divorce once or twice, but it was talking about it that made us decide that we did love each other and it’s been relatively easy ever since.

It’s a crapshoot and I think it is partly luck, because both sides have to have the same determination to stay together, if one side whimsicly falls in love with other poeple your ****** ~sighs~.

We don’t have anything in common ~shrugs~. But we love each other very much ~chuckles~.

Even if you drive, walk together somewhere, walking is less-lazy and will keep communication alive.
