it could be the way you are lying in bed try changing your pillow
I think it was actually a long drive I did the night I got the creak that may have caused it. I have never had problems with the pillows that I use at the moment. I used a heat pad which did help but only to relieve the discomfort slightly. Any other suggestions would be brilliant.
how do i get rid of it?
I’ve just found out that the creak in my neck was actually a rupture cervical vertebrae. Need to have an artificial disc put in. I have no pain in my neck now but apparently with this problem i’m at risk of damaging my spinal chord. Just thought i’d throw that in there. A creak is not always ‘just’ a creak!
oh deary me! an entire artificial disk. painful, and expensive!!
i have just done something to my neck i dont know what iev done but when i move it it reli hurts
If there’s pain shooting down your arm or shoulders when you move your neck i would go to a doctor. Also any loss of power in any parts of your body is a sure sign of disc problem. I had the pain in my neck 10 days before i got it looked at. Whatever you do don’t let a physio near you without doctors approval.
You may be lucky and just have a common creek in your neck.
goodluck with it!
i woke up last night with a really bad pain in my kneck that travelled down to my arms leavin my arms very heavy?? now today i cant move it and keep gettin shooting pains through out my kneck and back any suggestions what could be wrong?
You really should go to your doctor. I would say they will do tests on your nerve functions. Could be a disc problem if your arms are effected.
How yu get a creek out of youe neck?
It went away after about 4 days. But mine was a slipped disc, can be very dangerous so don’t be complacent. See a doc if it is effecting your arms or legs!
i have a real bad creak in my neck what do i do it hurts bad
i have the same problem please tell me how to get it out
Yeah, I know..
I also woke up the other night with a terrible creak in my neck. Today is day 3 and its still hurting. I have been taking Motrin, Tylenol and anything that I can get my hands on to help stop the pain. These things are a BIG pain the neck! Good luck to everyone……
What has helped me recently and in the past, is: rub a good liniminate on your neck, take a correct dose, pain killer, like motrin or nupoxrin and to help you sleep one with a sleep aid, and put a heating pad on low and sleep with it on your pillow. Usually I will wake up a few hours later, turn off the heating pad and put it aside and go back to bed. Thy to have a good pillow, not too high, not too low and try to sleep in a straight posture, be it on your side, back or stomach, just keep straight. I ususally feel better in the morning. If not I go looking for a muscle relaxer and do the above again the next night. Great the 2nd day or third. Good luck and feel better.
