I have a friend who has given up on his life.

he doesnt want anything to do with it. he says that i am the only reason he is still alive, and wants me to hate him so he can “go peacefully”. he thinks that nothing can help him now so he refuses to try anything. I know if he could find something important to him, he cold learn to live again, but he says she doesnt even care about me anymore. It was like having my true dad say that. But i cant let him go.I cant lose another friend. he is the most important person in my life, he takes care of me more then my true family ever has, and if i lose him… whats the point for me? So please if you have ever dealt with something like this before, i am open to all suggestions.

I never been through situation like this before but if I were you I’d show him how much I love him & try to contact with people you think they like him to show him how important he is to many people .

Richard, that sounds awesome. I’d love to take you up on that.

And to nextstar, I have tried to tell him. But he says he doesnt care about anything anymore. And told him about the numerous people he has saved by just talking to them. And reminding him of memories we have had hanging out But it doesnt seem to help. When he used to care and want to help people he was happier, but now that he wont help anyone, he has basically crashed. should i try going to him with more of my problems and seeing if him helping me makes things better for him?
