just learing the computer.

and i guess you can teach a old dog new tricks/i am looking to meet friends on line. but i never had to pay to talk to someone before and i am not looking for love in all the wrong places.just to chat and maybe share some war stories about life???? where do i start……..

there are TONS of forums, communities, bulletin boards and whatnot on the internet.

seriously, there’s one for every single topic you could possibly imagine, and many that you could not, and many more that you’d never WANT to.

so first thing you should do is narrow down what you’re looking for. don’t think “i want to talk to people,” but rather “i want to talk to ____ kind of people about _____ kinds of things”

second thing… well, then you start to search the vast internets for those kinds of things.
