If hydrogen peroxide and peroxide are the same then yes, like the hair bleach

Yes it does, i am a hairdresser and i use that al the time, it does remove the colour from fabrics but only slightly not too notisable unless you mix bleach with it then in that case it will be a huge stain, if your worried wash it straight away

Removes color, doesn’t stain. But yeah, it can ruin stuff if you aren’t careful.

We used hydrogen peroxide straight out of the bottle to get blood off our uniforms in the hospital.

i always get it on my clothes and theres never a stain. im a hairdresser too and it really doesnt do much. it’s 97% water so whats the harm. spill it everywhere, be carefree bacause it can’t hurt at all.

If you put hydrogen peroxide on cotton, then expose the cotton to the sun, even for ten minutes, it creates a yellow stain that is impossible to remove (as far as I know). You can soak the item in pure ammonia, you can bleach it until it falls apart, and you can use every other solvent, detergent, and stain remover I know of; you can try everything they list on the net (as I have): the yellow stain WILL NOT come out. This even happens if you rinse the article in water after using the peroxide. But it WILL NOT happen, however, if you LAUNDER the article before exposing it to the sun. SO BE SURE TO DO THAT!!!

Has anyone figured out how to get the yellow stains caused by hydrogen peroxide on cotton (when exposed to the sun)? This happened on a brand new white dress and I am heartbroken.
