My broadband box got hit by lightning and Verizon send me a new one.

I reinstalled using the CD they send me.Now I can only sign in to aol on the guest screen. I get guest or % and cannot override it. Why? If I don’t get it fixed, I’m quitting AOL

Personaly I would get rid of AOL.
If you are paying verizon to use there internet why pay AOL to use there browser when there are many better free ones out there.
The first thing that you want to do is verify the conection. Use Internet Explorer and try going to a website, if it works then there is an issue with AOL. At that time, I would just get rid of AOL.
However if you would like to keep AOL try uninstalling it completely, then reinstalling it.

If all of this does not work try calling verizon, to get the connection working, and if it is call AOL to see if they can help.
